Mastectomy is on the cards

So last week I had an breast check appointment. I will have these now every six months as Im BRCA1. I shared in an earlier post how this diagnosis led me to decide to have my ovaries out. Next on the cards is a mastectomy of both breast. 

I rather loose both boobs than taking the risk of getting breast cancer, which is very very high in my case. 

So the doctor confirmed that they are happy to go ahead with surgery for me. And he said that I might not need my next check up appointment 😱. 

In my case its most likley gonna be removal of the breast, heal for 6-12 months and then reconstruction. Its strange that i think i will go from a J cup to flat in a few hours. 

If there is a immidiate reconstruction it will be if I have a big enough belly to construct new breast from. 🙈
