What happens without bread

So I always have toast for breakfast but today we were out of bread. I’m not fussy what I toast but wraps just won’t work. So what to do?? I don’t like the chocolate cereals or rice crispies and we are out of frozen berries for smoothies. So the smoothie I have goes to the little one. She loves her smoothies in the morning.
Me being me, I bake! So now it’s scones for breakfast this morning. 😆
And yes I have rather baked a loaf of bread instead of going to the shops to pick it up. 😬


SCONES:
225g (3 dl) self rising flour
1tsp baking powder
40g butter diced
150 ml milk
Dash of salt
Place all dry ingredients in a bowl, add the butter and rub it all together. Add the milk bit by bit until you have a soft dough. Roll out and cut out your scones. Place them on a baking tray and bake for 10-15 min in 200-220 Celsius.
